There are over 70 (so called) co-working spaces in and around Melbourne; including Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat and others. Each with around 20 to 100+ members. This means that there are around 1,000 – 10,000 entrepreneurs, start-ups and freelancers coming in and out of this ecosystem at any one time. This excludes the thousands of other people in the rental offices, labs, retail, wholesale and heavy industry space, for example.
The co-working sector is a clear and identifiable starting point from which to build. This is an emerging trend and this book sheds light on this exciting opportunity for growth.
Currently, there is no consolidated guide for new entrepreneurs in terms of where to go, what to do and who to talk to. This guide will be useful for entrepreneurs and co-working spaces.
This guide aims to enable better access and communication in this ecosystem with the mission to help Melbourne, not only to remain the most liveable city in the world, but also to lead liveable-innovation and entrepreneurship.
This book contains a listing and insights of the 70+ co-working spaces with key business insights, hints and tips.
This book is about how we can all locally innovate and createmore examples of liveable-innovation and entrepreneurship and be the change we want to see in the world.
